![]() ![]() my grandmother is now in the process of taking me to court to get full guardianship. but my worker is not helping me with in getting him back or giving me resources to different ways that i can. Now my cps worker is telling me that i can get my son whenever i want. I still have my parental rights but if i go to pick my son up at her house she won't open the door or she'll call the police. This stipulation in the termination of temporary. If the child is over the age of 14 (depending on the state) they also have a voice in the situation. And there will be no need for a legal proceeding. I've been asking her to give me my son and that i want him back since March 1st, 2020. Under normal circumstances, once the temporary guardians of the child agree to terminate the agreement, they can end it by signing a stipulation. Now, I'm clean, she kicks me out, she wont give me a copy of the forms, won't allow me at her house, won't let me be a mother to my son, and now she won't let me see him. I don't have a copy of it because, at that time i was living at her home. So i gave my grandma temporary guardianship of my son and got it notarized on Feb. ![]() During my relapse, i did what was right, at the time. ![]() I ended up relapsing an used for about 2 weeks. In either case, the parent can file with the court to revoke the POA at any time. The POA remains in effect until a date specified within it, or until the child is no longer a minor. my son is 11 months old and I also have an open voluntary family maintenance cps case in the state of California. This can be as simple as having the parent sign a notarized form and submitting it to the court. I am 26 years old and I'm a recovering addict. ![]()
